cambria jaxon heart
it was a lovely day outside. the sun shone high in the sky, the grass was a bright green, and flowers bloomed all around. it was warmer than most days, actually making it up to seventy-five for the high. the sky was bright blue and no clouds were around to flaw the perfect color. a light breeze blew over the area, stirring the green leaves of the trees and cooling the people that it touched. the many people of the town were just getting out of work for the end of the day, and among them, there was a young girl named cambria, more commonly known as cam. she walked alone today, for she was new to this town and knew close to no one. of course, she was getting out of school, not work, but they weren't all that different.
cambria was a short, very thin girl. she stood at five feet, three inches, and she weighed ninety-seven pounds. she had long, blonde hair that was straight most of the time. today, she had her hair pulled back in a pony tail. she had beautiful, ice blue eyes that could be considered large for her face. cambria was quite a stunning young girl -or at least that's what she thought- and she hoped that with moving to this new school, she would meet many new people and make many new friends. of course, making friends meant that she would need to find people that didn't look like jerks, and so far, that wasn't working out too well for her.
cambria walked down the beach, heading toward the pier. on this bright, sunny day, she wore fairly short short, a tank top, and some flip flops, with a pair of sunglasses to protect her eyes. Her camera was stuffed into her shoulder bag that she carried with her whenever she went to the beach. it was a nice place to keep the camera, and it was always nice to have the thing on her just in case she spotted something worthy of being photographed. today, though, nothing had really caught her attention. that was one reason why she was going to the pier. usually, it was a quiet place were someone could sit -or stand- and just enjoy the day, think about life, or look for things to photograph. cambria wanted to do all three of those.
at last, she stepped onto the pier, hating that the sand covered her feet, but it didn't bother her enough to spray them off. besides, she was going to have to walk back to where she came from, so why would she spray her feet off now. she sighed and walked down the dock, smiling at people who said hello to her or just people that were passing by. it was a relatively quiet day at the pier, and cambria smiled to herself at that. it was always nice to find a place where you could just think. she walked over to the rail and placed her elbows on it, leaning on her elbows slightly. after a moment of just staring out at the ocean, cambria pulled her camera out of her bag and turned it on, looking around for something to take pictures of. the beach was a nice thing to take pictures of, but it was hard to make them look beautiful when there was no sunset or anything along those lines.
as she looked around, she realized that there weren't that many things to take pictures of out here. the beach, after you took so many pictures of it, was really quite boring. cambria lifted her nose in disgust, but didn't put her camera away. maybe she would find something that was worth taking a picture of. or maybe not. either way, it was better to have her camera out and not see anything than not having it out and missing something wonderful.
