Evangeline doesn’t follow any kind of rules when it comes to fashion, with the exception that the majority of the clothes she wears are on the darker side, with a lot of blacks and greys. She doesn’t always stick to that rule, however. Her hair is long and slightly wavy, and she doesn’t often straighten it. She doesn’t go outside without a heavy amount of dark eye make-up on, and feels completely naked without it. She’s very slim, and has been that way since birth, with only slight (very slight) curves.

You could use a variety of words to describe Evangeline, but they all pretty much mean the same thing; placid, stone-faced, rigid, emotionless. It is very rare to see Evangeline crack a smile, and almost always wears a blank expression, refusing to let anybody know what she’s truly thinking. However, sometimes it’s easy to tell when the time comes for her to use her biting sarcasm. She is incredibly intelligent with a high I.Q. and a 4.0 at her old high school in her home town of Kendrick, CA. Before coming to Bouscher Academy, she was working towards going to University a year early and enrolling in the medical program. She aspires to become a doctor, and frequently studies medical subjects. She’s also particularly gifted in the science of herbology, and practices these techniques whenever she is able to. When she’s on stage with her uncle’s band, ‘The Pretty Reckless’ formally known as just ‘The Reckless’, she becomes an entirely different person. She gives herself over to the music and has quite the set of pipes that cause people to continue to come and see them perform. While she doesn’t show her emotions outwardly, that doesn’t mean she is always a cold person. She has the capacity for friendship, though she doesn’t have any particular interest in romance. She has a sense of style and a very quick wit, making her a fitting enough companion for nearly anybody. Though she may show a different side of herself to people she’s particularly close to, such as her older brother Zane or her uncle Ben.

Evangeline was born as the second child of Henry and Delilah Hopkins in Kendrick, California. She grew up with a keen interest in being a doctor from an early age, and was nothing but encouraged by her father. When testing at her public school realised she was a gifted child, she was moved to a different school and into a more advanced program, which furthered her educational growth. Also, ever since she was quite young, she didn’t seem as quite the happy child, unlike her brother Zane who was always all smiles. But that didn’t mean that she didn’t feel happy, she just didn’t show it quite as often.

In the 6th grade, she decided to enter a talent show at her school, and sang ‘Cherry Bomb’ by The Runaways. Due to what the song implied, she got into some trouble with the school, but she still amazed everybody at the school. “Who knew the Robot had a singing voice like that?!” Her uncle remembered, years later, how she showcased her voice at that talent show. And years later, during the summer before 11th grade, he would ask her if she would be the headliner for his band, as well as help him and the boys with song writing.

Before that though, in her last year of middle school, she ended up developing very strong feelings for one boy in her class, Charles Holden. They went to the same high school together, and she kept her feelings secret, mainly because his parents were quite old school and he was involved in an arranged engagement to another girl at school. During this time, though, boys began to develop an interest in Evangeline. Keeping to her emotionless persona, while she pined for a boy that she could never have, she allowed other boys with perverted thoughts on the mind to do virtually whatever they wanted to her. Even during this dark time in her life, her virginity remained intact, as she still had some logic present and wouldn’t let any guy go that far. During one house party though, then she happened to witness Charles and his fiancé sneak into a bedroom together, she let one boy do the same with her. Luckily, this was also a college party, and Zane was in town and attending. When he witnessed his sister heading up the stairs with a strange boy, he followed her in and busted down the door. Soon her parents found out, and this was the first time that Zane was remotely disappointed with her.

One thing that her brother had done years ago, when he was Evangeline’s age, he asked his father to send him to this boarding school that specialized in educating him until he was 21 and would help him get into the law school of his choice, when in actuality, he wrote away to attend Bouscher Academy so that he could study his true passion, photography, without his father being none the wiser. Once the opportunity of being in her Uncle’s band came to light, she decided to try and do the same for music, just as a way to escape from things for a little while. Luckily, Zane’s fake school also had quite the medical program ;)
