out of character *
sup, what's your real name? ,, daisy works mighty fine <3

what's your name? ,, My name is Felix Sinclair, though Felix is suitable for our interview process, I think.
any nicknames we can call you by? ,, As I said, Felix is fine.
are you a lady or a gent? ,, I hope it's more than obvious I'm a male.
when where you born? ,, My birth date is October 30th, 1985.
where were you born? ,, My birth place was London, but I grew up in Idaho.
tacos or hot dogs? ,,, ..Excuse me? I don't have any interest in sexual encounters. And for the record, I'm a vegetarian.
how old are you? ,, I'm twenty-six years-old.
and what position are you applying for ,, The position of your British Literature teacher.
What was your major? ,, Respectively, I majored in British Literature while at school, though I might add I have a minor in psychology.
so, what do you look like? ,, I have a modest appearance, mostly. I normally prefer suits and ties over casual attire while at work. It helps me separate my professional life from my personal, you see.
My facial structure has been described as ethereal, and I don't intend to seem egotistical with that remark. Personally I don't spend too long of my day contemplating my physical features, though others have claimed to find my eyes utterly fascinating. But I digress.
and who do you look like? ,, I've been informed by several acquaintances I look astonishingly like Cillian Murphy. I don't see the resemblance.
how do you like to dress these days? ,,As stated, I enjoy professional suits. Occasionally I will adopt a sweater vest on a more lax day, but that's typically only during the warmer seasons.
I make a habit of polishing my shoes often, and I can't remember the last time I owned a pair of running shoes. I wear no rings, as you can plainly see, because I am an unmarried man. All in all, I wouldn't call my sense of fashion anything to brag about.
what do you just love? ,,
- literature
- libraries
- work
- quiet
- tea
vanilla ice cream- psychology
- astrophysics
- recognition for studious work
- appreciation
and what do you just hate? ,,
- obnoxious children
- most women
- repeating directions
- meat
- close physical proximity
- emotional outbursts
- irrationally-driven motives
- a disruptive class
- failing students
- emotional attachments
we've all got flaws, fess up to some of yours ,, Well, I see honesty is highly praised here. I suppose my perfectionist streak would be what some might call a flaw, and perhaps my brutal honesty.
now, let me in on a secret or two ,, Secrets are very personal. In this case, I'm afraid I will have to be honest however. My mother died shortly before my high school graduation, and I'm estranged from my father. I have been since the former's untimely death.
so, what scares the sunshine out of you? ,, My fears? Well, let me think. Perhaps..normalcy. That and first-hand experiences with carnivorous animals, I suppose.
any quirks? ,, i am a professional man. as such, physical contact without my invitation is something i don't appreciate.
so tell me about your parents ,, my father's name is eric sinclair, and mother's was stephanie. he was, the last time i checked, a banker and she a sunday school teacher.
are they together? ,, the two were married before she died.
any brothers and/or sisters? ,, i am an only child.
any pets? ,, to have a pet, i'd need to be much more dedicated to other living things. i can't deal with something being dependent on me right now.
so before we end this, any other family i should know about? ,, there honestly isn't much to tell regarding the rest of my family. even i barely knew my grandparents, and i'm not aware of any cousins within the country.
any family secrets? ,, family secrets? you make it sound like i'm from a morbid background. i assure you there are no deeply-buried family scandals you'll be forced to deal with during my stay at your school.
how did you get here, exactly? ,, my childhood and upbringing isn't anything to speak of, really. i was conceived before my parents' wedding, which explains the reason they were even married in the first place. though i was never confirmed in this theory, i'm fairly positive that their form of contraceptive failed. this is something i've come to terms with long ago however, and it honestly doesn't bother me.
i was born in london on my mother and father's honeymoon. i'm sure this wasn't exactly ideal for them, but i suppose this was the cause of my interest in britain anyway. i've always been curious about my birth place, even as a child. growing up in america, when compared to england, seems immensely dull to the eyes of a young boy, after all. and, as i obviously didn't remember my birth, the lack of memories to keep me satisfied caused my curiousity to grow and grow until i couldn't quell the urge to travel to london.
i did so shortly after my high school graduation. i suppose the death of my mother was the last straw, so to speak, and, if i'm not imposing myself by saying this, my father was all too happy for me to leave his sight. he gave me all the money i needed to buy a plane ticket, and even wired me money whenever necessary to ensure i kept my distance. it's no secret my existence causes him to remember the wife he lost, which in turn, i'm sure, causes him pain. i have no feelings on the matter and am content to remain out of his life for however long i continue living.
after visiting england, and soon after the rest of britain, i longed for a change of scenery. my mind wanted something familiar. so, i came back to america, though not to california, where my father was. i settled for idaho where, after tapping into my college funds, i attended over seven years of classes. it was expensive, don't be mistaken, but it wasn't a problem, so said my father.
since then, i have picked up the occasional odd job here and there, including teaching literature to children of all ages. i was soon able to support myself without requesting more financial help from my father since. unfortunately, my scenery was, again, growing old. i wanted someplace else to use my talents and knowledge. i wanted someplace tropical. and so, here i am.
