tall and lanky, with sinewy muscles and a slim physique, Owen would describe himself as unremarkable. He would describe his piercing stare at his best attribute, while others would say his dimpled smile. His style is trendy, due to his ridiculously stingy parents who refused to let him out of the house dressed down. He prefers slacks and loose-fitting tops and occasionally a scarf. Has a thing for hats. He likes dressing up to impress, even if it makes him seem out of place. He has a few old band tees hidden in the darkest part of his closet that he may use for nostalgia - or cleaning rags - depending on his mood. Almost always seen with a necklace, which are gifts from his sister.
personality *[/sub]
His parents would describe him as a rebel, someone that didn't want to follow the political path his parents had before him. He has no interest in politics, save debate and that's another thing entirely. He's ambitious to follow his own path, no matter where it leads him and he knows he's looking for someone whose dreams are as big as his. He's not as arrogant as he may seem, but the chip exists on his shoulder. He's had years of private education and he's done pretending to be the wonder child his parents dream he could be. He's preppy and likes modern fashion, but that doesn't make him arrogant. He's not entirely sensitive, but he isn't too cool to care, either. He's dry and witty in his humor, likes to goof off to show a lighter side and may even smile to show he's friendly. He takes life's experiences in stride, knowing some day they may tell an excellent story. He's not a typical bad-boy badass, but he's got his cocky moments.
He's someone not built into a cookie-cutter just dying to break the mold and is ready to show off what he has.

into the past *[/sub][/i]
Owen was born as the oldest child to Dominic and Antoinette Blake, a love-child of an American man and his French girlfriend. He was born with a literal gold spoon in his mouth and was afforded every opportunity from the day he was born. Despite what could have been a 'scandalous' childhood, his parents married and had his two sisters. His father, the son of a firefighter and a fashion designer, taught his son the finer points of stocks and bonds and the system of checks and balances before Owen had taken his first step.
By the time he was ten, the family moved from Paris to Connecticut to be closer to his grandfather, who died shortly after. His father had political aspirations by running for office and winning. His mother became a political analyst and correspondent and Owen found himself moving from one boarding school to the next, studying politics, the young wonder child set to follow in his father's footsteps. He rebelled against the dreadfully boring subject of politics, yet he quite liked the competitive nature of debating. He was one that did not like to draw attention to himself, but he couldn't help but feel that he was living his father's life all over again. He was young, networking good connections and living with the promise of a trust fund when he was old enough to earn it.
Though he feels he's been living someone else's life, he couldn't help but admire the life he has been living, though he desires nothing more than to write, draw and design. He has been given the best of the best, given great connections and finally broke free of the chains binding him to his political-happy family by appealing to his mother to let him attend Bouscher Academy as an english major. After a year, he has finally settled into life and is ready to live it.
