arturo looks exactly as he is, boyish. his childlike expressions are easily expressed through his charming features. his smile is the most noticable and memorable trait about him, for it stretches wide and is often thrown back, giving the world great view of his vampire teeth. his eyebrows too are kept bolded, slightly darker than his tousled tom sawyer hair.

arturo's style is more grab and go than planned. his jeans have holes in them, he's often just tossed a tank top on over board shorts and his accessories always seem to drift from the corners of whatever room he's in to him. he dresses comfortably, and is always ready for an impromptu beach trip. most of his school clothes his mom bought for him, and most of his shoes have been stolen from play places or sneaker traders. if any one in the room is wearing glasses or a hat or jewelry it all always ends up on arturo by the end of the night. but with that charm, who wouldn't laugh along with his uncanny combinations?

arturo is above all things a boy. he's facing situations and changes that are forcing him to man up and in a sense rediscover, and recreate himself. he likes to think he's a badass, he likes to think he's charming, and he likes to think that with a little talent, a good name and some sweet talkin' he can have, and deserves, everything he wants. arturo is at a roadblock in his life, where he either has to face the facts and man up a bit (to no one's disappointment) or crash and burn.

if there's anything arturo loves more than naked women, it's having a good time. arturo does anything anyone dares him to, drinks anything you put in front of his face, and pulls pranks left and right. he's fairly mellow until you get enough alcohol into him, in which he turns into celine dion's lost son. he likes to wear bright colors and take shots and dance with girls. he's a wild one, but deep down he's not nearly as badass as he thinks he is. he still gets care packages from his mom, and fantasizes about prom, and looks at pictures of taylor lautner for exercise inspiration. let's put it this way: arturo loves kegs stands, but only on saturday nights.

arturo is living out a long streak of awkwardness around women. he's always had classically good neves looks, and h'es always been charming and fun enough to have a large group of friends around. he's been with women, physically, and isn't awkward in that sense. yet, arturo has issues with commitment and emotional intimacy. he's only ever had one serious girlfriend before, and wasn't exactly a superstar boyfriend to her while it was going on. he's outgrown a phase of hitting on girls left and right, though younger brother cooper kitten seems to have caught the same bug, and is at a stage where he is coming to terms with his trust issues via finding control of his charm and his wit in relations to others.

arturo is a neves heir, and is therefore well taken care of for the rest of his life. he's in line for a hefty inheritance and has always known this. he's always been good looking, popular and powerful and consequently arturo subconsciously feels like he deserves all that he wants and shouldn't have to work very hard for it. but in a positive sense, he's never felt it possible to reach too high and is always the first to turn his dreams into ambitions. his interest and career in the theatre industry is a direct consequence of this. he lives his life like a character in a dream, without inhibitions or much fear of failure, and therefore lives colorfully and completely.

arturo was born on the fourth of july in a hospital room over looking central park, with a perfect view of shakespeare in the park's 'taming of the shrew.' arturo was born to be dramatic; theatre and film is in his blood, not to mention his extended family's bank accounts. arturo is the second son of the soon to be five neves sons, heir to film production maestro, jude neves. all in all, the neves are american royalty, sharing christmas with the likes of the kennedies and the vanderbilts.

arturo was always well taken care of as a young boy, growing up with full range of the city. his glamorous and dramatic young mother smothered him and his brothers with freedom and blessed them with encouragement from all angles. arturo, always the attention getter, was enrolled in theatre camps and programs from a young age and starred in all of st. francis's school for boys' productions. it would have been easy to get lost between an outlandish older brother and a younger set of triplets, but with impeccable raising and support, arturo made it through his young teenage years just fine.

arturo attended a local school for the performing arts from 13 and up, much to the decision of his mother. here is where he both excelled and let down more than he ever had. arturo was being properly challenged and his passions were questioned, and conquered. he discovered what it was he wanted to do and where it was he wanted to end up. early on in his final year at the school is when he applied to bouscher, and it seemed he was truly maturing a bit, which was a relief to his parents who were tackling their eldest sons outlandish new life as a gay rights activist and their three youngests' pesky new advances as pre-teens. yet, arturo fell into a rebellious and troublesome sort of lifestyle for a few months before transferring to ehu island. he began drinking, fell into an unhealthy relationship and friends became suddenly dispensable. after a sailing accident with said girlfriend, his transfer to and island far far away was exactly what he needed.

as a first year at bouscher, arturo could not be any happier or better adjusted. while ehu island is no new york, the warm nights and free women have done him good. he's loosened up enough to truly devote himself to theatre work and forming meaningful relationships with passionate and unique sorts of people.
