once upon a time, a group of seven witches named themselves the pleiades sisters, after the seven sisters in greek mythology. the sisters grew up and decided to use their unique talents to build their own school of magic on an island near the netherlands. they decided on seven houses for the school, each house tailored to each girl's unique personality traits: alcyone, electra, asterope, merope, celaeno, maia, and taygete.
