the typical abuse case, but with a slight twist. charlie has more faith in people than he lets on, and they seem to form some kind of attachment to him without either of them noticing. he does not believe in love, as the only love he’s ever received was followed by ignorance or abuse, this frustrates many of the people who do choose to stay around him. even now, away from his main abusers, people take advantage of the fact that he can hardly defend himself physically and emotionally. this applies also to the people who know about his masochistic tendencies. despite the quickness to trust, charlie is quick to abandon all hope in people who are over emotional or boring. he’s easily disinterested in people who can’t keep him enthralled in presence and conversation.

i'm not sure how this is entirely possible, but these two are best friends in a weird way. they enjoy cake together, and rory always will run to him when she needs help. likewise for charlie, if he needs too.

all i can see happening is meridth just tearing him down even more than he already is. she would spread awful things about him, and even talk to his face, she doesn't care what he would thing, because he is a no body and a no body he will always stay.

nicolai would keep him entertained in the least, he is genuine, and is a ver nice person, and i could see them being friends. if he ever needed to talk, nicolai would listen, but he wouldn't find it his most interesting hobby, if you know what i mean,

mason wouldn't feel really bad for him. it's not becasue he is a jerk, its just becasue he is overly gay and really feminine, but they do have the same major. so they might talk in class but nothing more.

He's not one to burst into tears when he's targeted so I don't expect he'd be too visually upset, he'd probably stew on what meridith would say for days. how perfectly dramatic, she sounds lovely.

nicolai ! charlie

charlie would probably be thankful for the company, but he'd prefer to just sit in silence. or hit some undeserving inanimate object. either way, that sounds peachy keen.

mason ! charlie

Sounds good, not everyone can be a classic fan.

charlie and aspen have certain things in common, such as they both don't believe in love and they both are second years majoring in photography. they should definitely bond and do projects together, and of course hang out in the darkroom together! aspen doesn't judge anyone, and she's quite friendly. let's just hope charlie can handle her uncensored attitude!

would probably be acquaintances, maybe friends who talk to each other when they see the other around campus or the island. sage has interesting things to say, and an interesting outlook on life, and would hopefully keep charlie's attention.

may not get along. all in all, théodore is quite boring when he isn't talking about music. the most he has to contribute to a conversation is how wonderful the lateralus by tool is or how drunk he is. since they're in the same year, i'd imagine they'd know each other, but not be friends nor acquaintances.

charlie would probably hate how dramatic eulaline is. she's quite the attention seeker and loves telling everyone about her latest choreography project or how tired her feet are from working in the studio all week long.

i imagine that these two would have a lot to talk about. aspen sounds lovely and it'll be a nice change from the people who think that to keep charlie entertained, they have to argue with him. he's happy just to have interesting people around, and i think aspen would be one of those people.

sage ! charlie

other people's views and opinions are definitely something charlie's willing to hear and discuss. as long as sage is open, charlie will be an eager precipitant.

théodore ! charlie

that sounds just fine, not everyone can appease charlie's constant need to be enthralled in people and circumstances.

eulaline ! charlie

i suspect he wouldn't be quite fond of her either. he's not particularly fond of hearing people talk about themselves all the time, and because her field involves more work with her body than his does, he would probably think she'd complain a lot about the exertion. that's just because he's an ass and assumes though.

soo, i think these two would be friends. charleigh's been abused as well, so they'd probably understand each other and they're a lot alike. she's got a loyal streak a mile wide, so she'd work really hard to make a point of being there for him, and maybe eventually they'd sorta get a mutual trust going on, even if maybe it is a little tentative at times? i dunno. i definitely feel like they'd be pretty close, though.

That sounds great, i imagine charleigh might be one of the few people who could really understand charlie on a deeper level, it would be good for him to have someone like that around. getting him to trust her first might be a little bit of a challenge, but once the friendship was established he'd be a very loyal person toward her. sounds good.
