now that we know your name, let's get to other basics. why did your parents name you that? is there any big significance to your name?

Well Mia means Sea Of Bitterness and it’s Scandinavian. I’m really Japanese so I don’t really get why they didn’t choose a Japanese name. I can be a bit mean but I still don’t get why they named me that!

interesting. how about your age? how old are you? what year are you?

I’m eighteen, and I’m in grade 2.

oh, that's nice. i have a lot of memories from that year. so, where were you born? when were you born? and, where are you coming from?

I was born in Tokyo Japan and I was born on May 5, 1993. I’m actually coming from Tokyo! I’ve lived there all my life and barely speak any Japanese. Weird right?

ah, that sounds like a lovely place! what do you hope to major in at bouscher? how did you start dabbling in that art?

I’m majoring in photography and minoring in fashion.

what a lovely story! so, who do people say you look like?

they say i look like this one japanese model named Tokuzawa Naoko. I definitely do, we could be sisters!

i see the resemblance! so, tell me about at least ten things you absolutely love.

Oh well I love kittens, wine, fashion, photography, my three fish (Miu, Arisa, and Hiroto), boys, dancing, bars, my iPhone, and of course my laptop. I couldn't live with out my iPhone and laptop! Oh yes, and my totally cute Yorkie-poo named Magnolia. There's a pic of her at the bottom of my interview.

and, how about at least ten things quite the opposite? what do you dislike?

Well I hate beer, swimming, crying babies, my little sister (Miu, yes she named one of my fish), anywhere really hot (like desert hot), nerds/geeks, turtles, puffy winter jackets, Target, and Walmart.

oh, i can relate. well, what are some of your secrets, dreams, and fears?

I don't have any secrets but I do have fears and dreams. One day I hope to be a famous photographer maybe for a magazine, I'm not to sure yet. I'm afraid of losing my fish and Magnolia, so i brought them with me. . . Whoops. . .Did I just say that? Achem. . .

how unique! well, let's go further into it. what are you like?

Well I was known at my old school as "Sweetie Pie" because I was so nice and sweet. That's what made me popular but from what I can tell, here it's going to be very different and being nice won't make me popular.
I can be a bit crazy and dramatic when something really bad happens. If I get shoved into a locker or something bad like that, my mean side will come out and make your life hell. *just warning ya*
Also, I flirt a lot. I can spot a hot guy from a mile away and if I do, well let's just say you might not want to be around me much longer because of my flirty personality. :)
I'm also very studious and actually care about my school work. I've never failed anything before, not even a quiz or a worksheet.
I pride myself in my ability to cope with change easily and adjust/adapt to new situations easily. I can also solve probablems (any problem) very easily because of my creative mind.

you are quite the character! well, can you tell me about your history?

I was born in Tokyo, Japan on May, 5, 1993. My mother Yuna met my father, Itsuki when they were only twelve. They married later when they were both twenty two and I came along when they were thirty one, I came along. My sister, Miu came into the world when they were thirty six. Miu is thirteen and she is definitely not my best friend. My best friend is Gaia, my pen pal in the states. We have video chats, write emails, and we visit each other often. We're both rich.
i got my three fish last year and I got magnolia just last month. My parents actually just adopted a little Russian girl from *obviously* Russia. Her name is Elise and we love her to death even though she looks completely different from us. She's only one year old and her parents abandoned her because they were so poor. They HAD to give her up. We are really lucky to have her in our family!

wow, that's interesting. can you tell me about how you found out about bouscher academy of the arts?

Well, my mother decided that I needed a better education so, she sent me here.
