--- I'll make this look pretty one day but for now here are the facts---
Mathis moreau, 19, film student, french, homosexual
He's a new character but he's been at the school since his first year. He's pretty focused on his work but he does still go out and have fiun from time to time. what he doesn't do is get drunk or over-do it in anyway. the furthest he'll go in tipsy but you're very unlikely to find him actually drunk. In a room full of strangers he's often reserved and keeps to himself but if someone catches his eye he won't hestitate to approach them and say hello.
one of the things he keeps secret is just what he's worth. his family started a small vineyard many, many generations ago and now it's a massive billion dollar business that supplies wine to most of the world. so mathis has been raised well, he has good manners, he's polite and he knows what's expected of him in a social situation. he's kind and generous and has a very hard time saying no to people (unless it's a ridiculous request then it becomes very easy).
FRIENDS: he could use a few. one best friend (i may have someone in mine already just working out plots at the moment) is required but i'd say we get the characters together and see what happens in a thread if you're interested in this one. otherwise, a few close friends are essential too and a couple of people he says hello to and can talk to if he happens to run into them.
ENEMIES: not really a priority. if someone dislikes him it should be for a reason, whether it's his personality or just something about him that annoys them or pisses them off. whatever it is, we'll have to develop this one in a thread and see how that goes.
LOVERS: he is gay and definitely out of the closet. he keeps his personal life to himself though and doesn't go around shoving it in people's faces. he believes that that sort of thing should be left behind closed doors.
he does flirt with people from time to time though and at the moment he'll date but hasn't found anything too serious yet. he does want a relationship though. his other secret is that he's a hopless romantic, he falls for all the sappy thoughtful, sentimental stuff but doesn't like to admit it or show it.
currently he's in the digital bean flirting a little bit with a boy he's just met. also, he does not require a final. i prefer plahying plots out and seeing what happens so he can end up in a relationship with someone but it'll be more real and they can end up having fights or breaking up. i like keeping it as close to real life as possible.
