she's new in town, and she's hiding something - her past. back in the small town she grew up in, she ended up having a baby out of wedlock, disgracing her family and bringing shame to the seven other parkers. the family ended up having to shift towns, and mr. parker decided that the remote island of ehu was the perfect place for a new beginning.

shay is full of surprises - she likes doing the unexpected, she likes being out there, and she's got an addiction to cocky guys who'd leave any other girl broken hearted - but not shay. shayy is cautious, never letting anybody get close to her, never letting anybody inquire after her. she'd rather talk about the latest celebrities and fashions than herself, and she's turned diverting questions from herself into an art form. she likes to have fun, and there's no limit to how much, and she has a way of making people feel good about themselves when they're around her. she's the type to demand attention instead of meekly seeking it, which makes her one of the popular ones at school. she'd have a group of friends she hangs out with, even though she would never allow anyone to come close enough. fun and good times are all she counts anybody in for. she's quite the social monster and goes out of her way to make people feel welcome and at ease with her. she's also the one-night stand type, and will say no-no to a relationship - she won't get close enough to anybody to let it happen. she's very close to her family and believes they'r all she truly needs, and she's quite talented at dancing and painting.

^{arturo && shay}: so, they're the same age and arturo is definitely a cocky guy. he's not smooth enough to leave anyone like shay broken hearted though. he's more of a good time. he likes to party, he likes loose women, and he likes to drink on his boat. arturo is unecessarily rich, and therefore entirely careless. i can see him and shay being party friends, getting into trouble as arturo fails to get into her pants. maybe they met in watercolors?

^{ramilda && shay}: ramilda is ridiculously rebellious, outlandish, and outrageous. she's colorful and vivacious and is quick to become friends with anyone who reflects that at all. i can see she and shay being good friends, partying together and whatnot.

these two are taking japanese together. how about they met in japanese i last year, and have gotten extremely close since then? aspen will be okay with not knowing shay's past because aspen has a past of her own she doesn't like to share. aspen's an eager beaver, eccentric and loud like the italian she is (even though she's the most unauthentic italian shay will probably ever meet). she's boisterous, unladylike, and likes to have a blast. they can break into piece of cake bakery and big island pizza together late at night and essentially be the closest to partners in crime who know not to ask about the other's past, because there's some dirty laundry that just doesn't need to go to the cleaners.

within the next couple of weeks sage's heart is going to be broken and feel empty because his "true love" cheated on him with the dance professor, and is leaving ehu island with his baby. he'll need to fill the emptiness in his heart with something, and it'll probably be sleeping with as many girls as he can. maybe sage will go to shay for a fling? perhaps they have a history of flings, and kind of have that relationship where when one asks the other out on a date, they know it'll end up just being another one of their meaningless flings. dinner won't end up being included. they have creative writing and poems and prose together,

arturo and shay; failing to get into her pants sounds just about right. shay might be a fan of one night stands, but she's got class and won't have sex with just about any guy, though its possible she flirts and teases arturo because he's rich and see's the benefits of being friends with such a person.

ramilda and shay definitely very good friends! shay would love her company, and often seeking her out to have a good time or to cut class, whatever whim she has at the moment. and she'd love the fact that ramilda is outrageous, means there'd be no boundaries to the fun they could be having.

eulaline and shay shay wouldn't like nosy eulaline at all. while she'd easily divert questions at first, if eulaline keeps it up shay is likely to lose her temper and take a page out of her brothers books and slap her - or just scream. but shay would attempt to end things civilly at first. perhaps tell eulaline to keep her nose out of other business and avoid her for the rest of the the term? shay can play chicken sometimes.

aspen and shay i can't deny that shay would be very curious about aspen's past once she catches on that aspen is hiding something, but she'd know better than to ask and she'd respect aspen's privacy. partners in crime sounds sweet, i can see these two getting into all sorts of trouble together and having a good time at it.

sage and shay if shay feels like sage is coming to her because he needs someone, she's going to take the fling one step further and buy him dinner and get him to talk about his feelings or whatever is bothering is. i see them as friends, and maybe sleeping around is the benefits that their friendship has, but shay would definitely try to help aspen out or lend him a shoulder to cry on or just hold him if he needs holding. shay's naturally very motherly, and she'd be all for taking care of him and tut-tutting over his sleeping habits. i guess they'd develop a pretty strong platonic relationship if it keeps up, whatdyu think?

Wow, these two have a bunch in common. They're both artists (similar in their tastes) and can relate on the level that they BOTH got pregnant at a young age. Instead though, Rory didn't actually have her child. Maybe they could console eachother in that? We may need more plottage.

dimitri and shay dimitri is so sexy shay wants a peace of him! but dimitri's the type of guy who shay would think is dangerous to even have a one-night stand with, because not only is he good-looking but he's charming and witty and mysterious as well? they would be friends, and good ones at that - she would always count in him to have fun with her as he has no limitations when it comes to booze and other things? shay would find him interesting and keep him close - she'd seek him out to have interesting conversations with him because she could use someone smart to talk with, and she'd love his company but always keep a check on how close she got to him. and maybe in times of crisis when she finds she needs someone but has no one to open up to, she seeks out his company just for the pure pleasure of it and because it would distract her?

rory and shay shay would find rory extremely cute and take her under her wings. shay wouldn't like to open up and have a heart to hear about anything, but if she finds out rory got pregnant she'd be more understanding than most, but she'd also get undeniably flustered if rory had aborted the baby? shay would think that a terrible thing to do, but then she'd understand why rory couldn't keep the baby too. shay might try to take rory out to have a good time though.

okay. he's a third-year art major, aanndd they have watercolors and art: black & white together. so... if you're up for it, jon will probably try to change the no-no to relationships thing. jonathan is kind of damaged goods because right before his first year at bouscher, his parents died in a car crash, and then in his first year he fell in love with this girl named allie and then she died in a car crash, too. which is kind of suckish. he's resolved to never get in a car again or fall in love. jon's sort of quiet most of the time, but he's also one of those guys that people are just drawn to, and that makes him have a lot of friends. i can see him just being there for shay a lot of the time, and eventually it could turn into something...? what do you think?

methinks these two are going to definitely not get along. kor is this high-maintenance, spoiled first-year from new york city, and they're in ballet ii together. probably a bit competitive and all that loverly stuff. shay would probably find korinne overly annoying and shallow and bitchy, while korinne would just dislike her for being a good dancer and therefore any type of competition at all. i can see kor trying to ask her about her past just for kicks after she maybe notices that shay doesn't talk about the past much, just to bug her.

Oh dear, I love that idea so much! Though Dimitri hates when people open up to him, if he gets close enough to someone he would definitely be there for them even if he's uncomfortable. I love this idea!

zaryn and shay oh hey! i'm glad c: i actually do know a girl called zaryn and i think it's fitting that you named your taylor swift charrie that because zaryn means 'golden' and taylor's got that insanely beautiful hair i could envy. as for zaryn and shay, hmm. zaryn's kind of a bitch and though shay can handle that, she won't be a big fan of it either, as shay doesn't like to inflict pain on people - only except sometimes. but she'd understand zaryn's need to keep people at a distance and empathize with her, but i can't see these two having coffee together or anything. maybe they hang together at parties occasionally, and they feel comfortable with each other knowing the other won't pressure to reveal too much about themselves?

jonathan and shay in their own way, they're both damaged, so i know these two would keep out of the pants of each other. shay would avert her eyes from anybody she feels is damaged, for she wouldn't want to break them anymore - that's why she goes for the cocky guys. but if they settle into a comfortable platonic relationship, something might come off it, i think we have to play it out though. i can't honestly gurantee anything without seeing the chemistry between these two, and its unlikely that either would fall in love when they're both so stubbornly refusing to? but something could happen to bring them even closer, though chances are if they become intimate, shay would shut herself down completely and avoid him. we should definitely thread these two together.

korrine and shay and shay would be like "bitch, back off or i'll break your fingers." these two would definitely not get along, and shay would just take to avoiding korrine, and korrine better not try to bait her.

shay and summer are a bit of the same. they are very outgoing and welcoming girls! i think they could become good friends and pry have a good time just about anywhere they would happen to go together or make a good time for others. though they are different in the aspect that shay isn't extremely open and won't let people to close and summer can be overly friendly so from time to time i can see shay becoming rather annoyed with the girl. the typical girl friendship.
